The Mojave Audio MA-201fet Microphone is a stellar vocal microphone. It's rich warm character is drenched in musical smoothness. The solid state designs provide a slightly tighter and more forward sound that really projects the vocals up front letting them take center stage.

The Mojave Audio MA-201fet Microphonet is a large diaphragm fixed cardioid FET condenser microphone. Designed by David Royer, the MA-201fet gives a warm and full bodied musical tone. The MA-201fet features a 3-micron gold-sputtered capsule, Jensen audio transformer, military-grade FET, and custom designed low-noise resistors. The MA-201fet provides a performance level on par with classic loved microphones.

    I had this microphone for the past couple months or so, and listen, it’s just incredible!! If you are considering purchasing this, go ahead and get it, you won’t regret it… for vocals, it’s the best at the price range, just so full bodied, no sibilance issues whatsoever, not a super bright mic that many are unfortunately prone to be, vocals cut thru the mix and easy to EQ after the fact… the transformer give this microphone character, this isn’t one of those sterile lifeless sounding mics, you will immediately hear the difference, especially when connected to an outboard mic pre or channel strip, it will sound much more expensive… overall 5 stars, highly recommended!

    So good it's almost silly. You can buy a $3000 mic, or get 2 of these and save $1600. It's a steal.
