The Focal Trio11 Be Studio Monitor delivers the power, detail, and flexibility required for demanding nearfield and midfield monitoring applications.

Combining a full-range three-way system with a switchable two-way Focus Mode, Trio11 Be lets recording, mixing, and mastering engineers evaluate their work from two distinctly different monitoring perspectives without adding another pair of speakers to the control room. Trio11 Be uses an 11-inch “W” composite-cone subwoofer, a 5-inch “W” composite-cone midrange driver, and Focal’s pure Beryllium inverted-dome tweeter to reproduce everything from deep low-frequency energy to fine high-frequency detail. Class G amplification powers the bass and midrange sections, while a Class AB amplifier drives the tweeter, providing a combined 550 watts of amplification and a maximum output of 118 dB peak at one meter. The result is a powerful yet highly controlled monitoring system capable of revealing subtle mix decisions while still delivering the headroom needed for modern productions. Focus Mode converts Trio11 Be from a three-way monitor with a 30 Hz to 40 kHz frequency response into a two-way monitor with a 90 Hz to 20 kHz response. This alternate perspective helps engineers check balances, midrange clarity, and mix translation on systems with limited bass extension. The mode can be activated remotely using an optional footswitch, making rapid comparisons easy during a session. The rotatable midrange and tweeter plate allows Trio11 Be to operate vertically or horizontally, providing added flexibility in rooms where space or console placement is limited. Rear-panel sensitivity, shelving, and low-mid controls help tailor the monitor to the acoustics of the room, while front-firing ports support defined low-frequency reproduction and simplify placement near walls.
