The Focal Shape 65 Studio Monitor delivers the extended low-frequency reach, precise imaging, and revealing detail engineers need to make confident mix decisions.

Designed as the reference model in Focal’s Shape line, this active nearfield monitor combines a 6.5-inch Flax cone woofer, dual passive radiators, and an M-profile aluminum-magnesium tweeter for controlled bass, natural mids, and highly detailed highs. Its portless cabinet also makes placement less fussy, so you can achieve accurate monitoring even when the speakers need to sit close to a wall. The Shape 65 uses Focal technologies such as the Neutral Inductance Circuit and Tuned Mass Damper suspension to improve driver control and reduce unwanted coloration. The result is a transparent, articulate presentation that works equally well for tracking, mixing, editing, and critical listening. A wide, sharply focused stereo image helps reveal placement and depth within a mix, while low tweeter directivity allows greater freedom when positioning yourself at the console. Rear-panel controls make it easy to adapt the monitor to different rooms and installation requirements. Adjustable low-, low-mid-, and high-frequency settings help compensate for room acoustics and speaker placement, while the switchable high-pass filter supports integration with a subwoofer. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs provide compatibility with professional and consumer-level audio equipment, and rear and underside mounting points support flexible installation options.
