The Radial StageBug SB-1 Active Acoustic Direct Box is a compact, high-performance solution designed specifically for acoustic instruments and piezo pickups that demand proper impedance matching and pristine signal clarity.
Ideal for acoustic guitars, violins, mandolins, upright basses, and other piezo-equipped instruments, the SB-1 delivers a natural, full-range sound without the harshness or low-end loss often caused by standard DIs. Its ultra-small footprint makes it perfect for pedalboards, stage rigs, and tight performance spaces where reliability and tone are critical. Powered by phantom power, the SB-1 features a high-impedance active input that preserves the true character of your instrument while providing excellent headroom and low noise. A switchable high-pass filter helps control boominess and stage rumble, while a polarity reverse switch ensures proper phase alignment when blending with microphones. Built in Radial’s rugged StageBug enclosure, the SB-1 is engineered to withstand the realities of live performance and studio use alike.
