The Sennheiser e904 Dynamic Microphone is specifically designed for drum applications. Featuring a very short body with integrated stand mount and a universal rim clip, the e904 provides great sound without getting in the way in even the most crowded setups.

The Sennheiser e904 Dynamic Microphone is a cardioid instrument microphone designed for drums and percussion. Compact with clip to attach to the rims of toms or snares, the Sennheiser e904 adapts to all percussive styles.

    My doumbek never sounded better and I have tried a few. The tone is natural but yet present. The form factor is great also. A must try!

Sennheiser microphones are synonymous with drum recording - especially toms. The e604 has had a great reputation and run (still ongoing, I might add) as a great sounding and compact solution for tom recording. For those of you who have ever wanted a more robust version of the e604 that has a little more guts and teeth; the e904 is exactly what you ordered. With it's all metal chassis, more durable mic clip and universal rim clip, and improved dynamic element, you really can't go wrong with this little guy.
