For me the Ruby is the clean tone and foundation tone pedal. It is the "most amp" pedal of the bunch. Maybe because I personally use a British amp as the core of my personal tone, but this pedal has a body that is smile inducing. The cleans can be rich and warm, to bodied and brilliant. Then get a slightly gritty tone from it as a foundation and push the pedal with another pedal (whether that be your favorite rodent, tube screamer, or the Universal Audio Dream pedal). The Ruby is quite flexible. This one as my kind of magic to it.
