Its single-knob tilt equalizer lets you move smoothly between added warmth and enhanced clarity, making it a fast and musical solution for recording vocals, instruments, podcasts, and spoken-word content. Designed for ribbon, dynamic, and tube microphones, the Tilt EQ combines intuitive tone shaping with 22 dB of low-noise amplification in one compact, phantom-powered device. Turning the control toward Low adds body and richness to thinner sources, while moving toward High can improve articulation, presence, and definition. The broad, complementary EQ response keeps adjustments natural and balanced without requiring a collection of separate frequency controls. The Tilt EQ connects directly in the microphone signal path using balanced XLR input and output connections. Its internal circuitry is powered by 48V phantom power, but phantom power is not passed through to the connected microphone. This makes it suitable for use with older passive ribbon microphones that may be sensitive to phantom power while still providing a useful gain boost and immediate tonal control.
