The Soyuz Microphones 013 FET-M Microphones features a proprietary toroidal transformer and extremely low harmonic distortion, providing a rich and beautiful sound that is perfect for even the most delicate and dynamic sound sources.

The Soyuz Microphones S013 Microphone features the same capsule as their SU-011 tube microphone but with a FET pre-amp. With more than a year of research and development, Soyuz worked very hard to develop their own proprietary transformer, which gives the SU-013 a rich and beautiful sound. As with all their microphones, the 013 is 100% handmade in the Soyuz facility in Russia.

The Soyuz Microphones 013's classic internal transformer design creates a detailed sound that is robust in the lower frequencies, rich in the midrange, and silky smooth in the upper register.

The Soyuz Microphones 013 FET-M Microphones provide a fullness that is quite similar to a loved vintage SDC, but with a more detailed fidelity of a modern mic. This combination make the 013 FET and extremely impressive mic for acoustic guitars and drum overheads. Perfectly enough, those two applications benefit from stereo miking. And since you really should have your SDCs in pairs, the Soyuz Microphones 013 FET-M Microphones is a great solution. This is why I personally own a matched pair. The 013 FETs run drum overhead and acoustic guitar duty in my studio. The wide ranged, hi-fidelity, sound that is smooth, with it's robust low mids provides an overall character that is similar to that vintage loved SDC but in a modern musical way that just nails it everytime for me. The Soyuz Microphones 013 FET-M Microphones is definitely a microphone pair I highly recommend.
