The Radial OX8-R 8-Channel Microphone Splitter is a premium studio and tour-grade solution for routing microphone signals cleanly and reliably to multiple destinations without compromising tone. This version features Eclipse transformers.

Designed for professional live sound, broadcast, recording, and installed audio systems, the OX8-R delivers pristine signal integrity using custom Radial transformers and bulletproof construction. Whether you’re splitting microphones between FOH and monitor consoles, sending feeds to broadcast trucks, or integrating recording rigs into live setups, the OX8-R ensures flawless performance every time. Each of the eight channels features a direct output and two transformer-isolated outputs, providing complete flexibility while eliminating ground loops, hum, and noise. The Jensen transformers preserve the full character of the microphone — from delicate condenser detail to high-SPL dynamics — while offering excellent phase coherence and headroom. Built into a rugged 14-gauge steel chassis with Radial’s renowned road-ready design, the OX8-R is engineered to withstand the demands of touring, festivals, and permanent installations where reliability is non-negotiable.

Radial OX8-R 8-Channel Microphone Splitter Applications

  • Using the OX8-R to record a live show - The Radial OX8-R is ideal for recording a live show. Simply connect the stage mics to the Radial OX8-R and split the signal from the Radial OX8-R to the recorder and the PA system. The transformers will isolate the recording system to eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops.
  • Using the OX8-R with a live PA system - There is nothing more bothersome than hum and buzz coming at you through the stage monitors. The Radial OX8-R is easily configured to isolate the FOH and monitor consoles to ensure noise-free performance. Gang up as many as you need for 16 or more channels.
  • Using the OX8-R to broadcast a live event - Go all the way by using the auxiliary out to feed the monitors and the isolated out to feed a broadcast truck. The Radial OX8-R's amazing sound quality will deliver a distortion free feed to the broadcaster while enabling the PA system to work independently.
