The KRK V6S5 Studio Monitor delivers the accuracy, precision, and reliable mix translation expected from KRK’s fifth-generation V-Series in a versatile 6.5-inch nearfield design.
Built for professional recording, mixing, production, and immersive audio environments, the V6S5 combines custom-designed transducers, premium conversion and amplification, extensive onboard room correction, and wireless control through the KRK Control app. At the heart of the KRK V6S5 Studio Monitor is a custom 6.5-inch woven Kevlar woofer engineered for clear midrange reproduction and linear low-frequency performance, even at higher excursion levels. An aluminum shorting ring helps reduce distortion and improve linearity, while a bucking magnet supports efficient motor performance and magnetic shielding. The 1-inch silk-dome tweeter uses a purpose-built waveguide for controlled off-axis response, along with a copper cap and internal acoustic damping to improve extension, transient response, and overall clarity. The V6S5 features ESS conversion, Analog Devices DSP, and Pascal Class D amplification for clean, accurate monitoring across a wide range of production applications. Its optimized front-ported bass-reflex enclosure supports flexible placement, while 49 boundary EQ combinations, seven fully parametric Pro EQ filters, and three savable user presets provide detailed control over the monitor’s response within the room. KRK Mesh technology allows the V6S5 to be controlled wirelessly through the KRK Control app. Individual monitors can be adjusted independently or grouped into stereo and full Dolby Atmos systems, giving engineers convenient access to EQ settings, level, mute, and other monitor functions after installation.
