Designed in collaboration with mastering engineer Maor Appelbaum, the Roaster delivers exceptional tonal flexibility - allowing you to shape, enhance, and transform any source from pristine clarity to rich, harmonically saturated character. At its core, the Roaster features a hybrid design that blends high-voltage MOSFET solid-state amplification with a pentode tube saturation stage, offering five distinct voicing options and a wide range of tonal textures. It accepts microphone, line, and instrument-level signals, with a front-panel DI for direct recording. The built-in optical compressor can operate as a full-range dynamics processor or focus on high frequencies for de-essing duties, providing smooth, musical control over peaks and transients. Combined with its unique “Burn” EQ section—featuring low, mid, and high bands that interact with the saturation stages - the Roaster offers a highly musical, broad-stroke approach to tone shaping. What truly sets the Roaster apart is its versatility. In addition to being a high-end channel strip, it also includes a 1-watt tube power amp capable of driving an 8-ohm speaker cabinet, making it a creative tool for reamping, guitar, and keyboard applications. With selectable pads, gain staging options, and the ability to reprocess audio from your DAW, the Roaster adapts easily to virtually any recording or production workflow.
Just to add a cherry on top, Hendyamps has hidden inside this box a 1 Watt (Yes One Watt) TUBE POWER AMP that can drive a speaker cab (8ohm guitar amp speaker cab). So not only will you be able to record any source with THE ROASTER, but you can also use it as a guitar amp, keyboard amp, or general reamp box - WITH an amazing studio grade compressor and EQ!
