With two independent MADI interfaces, up to 128 channels of MADI input and output at 48 kHz, flexible internal routing, redundant network operation, and built-in monitoring, the VERTOpro MX is much more than a simple format converter. It is a compact routing hub designed to help established MADI systems play nicely with networked audio workflows. At the heart of the VERTOpro MX are two MADI SFP interfaces that can operate independently, function as a redundant pair, or route audio directly between one another. Each interface supports up to 64 inputs and 64 outputs at 48 kHz, allowing up to 128 MADI input and 128 MADI output channels when both ports are used independently. Two multimode MADI SFP modules are included, making the system ready for optical MADI integration right out of the box. On the network side, the Dante interface supports up to 64 inputs and 64 outputs at 48 kHz through dual Gigabit Ethernet connections, with switched or redundant operation and AES67 compatibility. The VERTOpro MX also provides extensive control without forcing you to manage everything from a computer. Its flexible routing matrix allows signals to be routed between MADI and Dante or directly between the two MADI interfaces, either channel by channel or in groups of eight. A 3-inch IPS color display provides immediate access to signal levels, routing, clock information, and configuration settings, while the integrated 6.3 mm headphone output makes it easy to monitor digital signals directly from the unit. RemoteFish software adds remote configuration from Windows or macOS via USB-MIDI or MIDI, and dedicated BNC Word Clock connections provide straightforward integration with externally synchronized digital systems.
