The elysia xfilter Equalizer brings precise, musical analog tone shaping to recording, mixing, and mastering with a true-stereo four-band design built around clean Class-A circuitry.

Whether you are tightening the low end of a mix bus, bringing presence to an instrument, opening up the top end, or making broad mastering adjustments, the xfilter combines an exceptionally open sound with controls that encourage fast, intuitive decisions. Add its resonant high- and low-cut modes, switchable Q settings, and unique Passive Massage circuit, and this stereo analog EQ can move effortlessly between subtle polish and purposeful sound shaping. Designed from the ground up for linked stereo processing, the xfilter uses carefully selected multi-layer potentiometers and low-tolerance components to maintain close tracking between the left and right channels. Its outer bands operate as traditional low- and high-shelf filters or can be switched into 12 dB/octave cut filters with resonance at the corner frequency. This gives engineers a particularly useful way to clean up unwanted extremes while retaining punch, presence, or definition around the cutoff point. The two parametric mid bands provide overlapping frequency ranges along with switchable Wide and Narrow Q settings, giving you a practical choice between broad musical shaping and more focused correction. For an additional finishing touch, elysia's Passive Massage circuit engages a fixed passive LC network that adds a gentle resonance around 12 kHz before rolling off the extreme high frequencies. The result can add an appealing sense of openness and polish without simply boosting the entire top end.
