What's New With the V2 Version?
The BeesNeez B67-269 V2 was introduced in 2024 and builds directly on the original V1 by keeping the same core vintage-inspired character, but significantly expanding its versatility. The biggest change is the addition of Old/New voicing switches for both the 67 and 269 modes, effectively giving you four distinct tonal options instead of two. The Old voicing closely matches the original V1 and classic vintage behavior, while the New voicing adds more air and presence. You'll have brighter high-mids in 67 mode and added air with a touch more low-mid weight in 269 mode. V2 also features a slightly larger body and refined internal implementation, but the capsule and overall design philosophy remain consistent. In short, V2 doesn’t replace the V1’s sound, it includes it, while adding more flexibility to better suit modern vocals, instruments, and different production styles.
