The Z&H Designs ME-250DX Mastering Equalizer brings the spacious, transparent tone of a classic Sontec-style stereo EQ into a precision mastering format built for serious recall and surgical control.

Designed as the mastering version of Z&H’s HVC250 Stereo Parametric EQ, the ME-250DX gives engineers stepped controls, stereo-matched accuracy, onboard Mid/Side processing, and the smooth musical response needed for mastering, mix bus work, and high-end stereo processing. Built with an all-discrete analog circuit, 12 discrete op-amps, and a 56V linear power supply, the ME-250DX is engineered for clarity, headroom, and detail without adding heavy coloration. Each channel provides five true parallel fully parametric bands, with more than 100 frequency points and gain control in precise 0.5 dB or 1 dB increments depending on range selection For modern mastering workflows, the ME-250DX includes a full analog M/S encoder/decoder, allowing engineers to work in traditional left/right or mid/side mode. With hand-matched stereo accuracy of less than 1%, ultra-low distortion, and a clean "Zen" sonic character, this stereo mastering equalizer is made for engineers who need refined analog control without giving up depth, punch, or musicality.
