The Vanguard Audio Labs VSSM Small Shockmount delivers serious, studio-ready microphone support in a compact design built for small-diameter microphones that still deserve big-time protection.

Super heavy duty and designed to last a lifetime, the VSSM gives pencil condensers, select ribbon microphones, shotgun mics, and other compatible microphones a secure, vibration-isolating home that will not quit when the session gets demanding. Vanguard re-imagined the small shockmount by replacing flimsy elastic bands with aerospace-grade rubberized suspension rings that resist sagging, cracking, stretching, or snapping over time. The result is a rugged isolation mount that firmly supports microphones while helping reduce unwanted rumble, stand noise, and vibration before they reach your recording chain. The VSSM features a 37.5mm inside diameter and supports microphones up to 30mm in diameter, making it compatible with a wide range of small condensers and select medium-diaphragm, ribbon, shotgun, and dynamic microphones. Its 240-degree windowed body also makes it easy to reach pad, rolloff, and pattern switches without disturbing mic placement.
