The Shure SM27 Microphone is a cardioid large diaphragm condenser microphone that delivers exceptional stage and studio performance applications. Features include a preamp for transparency, switchable low-frequency filter, and a -15dB switchable attenuator for SPL versatility.

The Shure SM27 Microphone is a rugged and versatile large-diaphragm, side-address cardioid microphone featuring a preamplifier for transparency, switchable low-frequency filter, and a -15dB switchable attenuator for SPL versatility. The SM27 is ideal for both professional vocal and instrument use such as lead and ensemble vocals, acoustic guitar, strings, cymbals, woodwind and saxophone. It has a flat, neutral frequency response and very low self noise for a natural reproduction of the sound source. It includes a 3-position switchable low frequency filter which helps reduce unwanted background noise or counteract proximity effect and a -15db switchable attenuator for added versatility.

    1" LDC built is top notch and of the family sounds most like a Neumann 87 per a MixOnline review. Excellent low noise and crisp sound for medium distant recording or vocals(with pop filter)
