The Oktava MK-012 Preamp Body is the modular amplifier stage behind the revered MK-012 small-diaphragm system, ready to mate with any MK-012, MK-101, -102, -103 or -104 capsule and drive a balanced mixer input with pristine, transformer-less clarity. Powered by standard 48 V phantom, it delivers a wide 20 Hz–20 kHz bandwidth, a low-noise 300 Ω output and headroom up to 130 dB SPL, so you can move seamlessly from delicate acoustic sources to loud drums without distortion. An optional screw-on -10 dB pad lets you tame especially hot signals, while the rugged metal housing—available in matte silver or black—makes the preamp an easy drop-in replacement or an affordable way to expand your Oktava toolkit without buying a whole new mic.
