    Awesome
    Nicholas Liu

This thing is really awesome for the price, but also not considering price. It handily beats the Focusrite Scarlett line for instance: better pre-amp quality, way better headphone amp quality (check YTube, it has one of the best headphone amps) and better latency if you work with virtual instruments. I see no reason to spend more unless you need a lot of inputs or want your interface to do DSP stuff.

    Excellent
    Don

Nice headphone output, quiet preamps, linear response. Minus a few driver issues here and there, the specs are great at this price point.

    Love it
    Johnny

Works flawlessly. I love the meters on the front, the on/off switch and it's loopback feature that allows you to record what you're listening to into your computer. So glad I got rid of my Focusrite.

    Outstanding Audio Interface!
    Michael Pilgrim

Definitely the best audio interface I've used in the sub-$200 price range. Very clear, transparent sound, both for guitar and general music listening. I know my older PreSonus device is a bit warm, but going back-and-forth between it and this new M2 really shows how transparent the M2 is. I use this with a new-ish Windows 10 system bought last Dec, as well as an old 2011 MacBook Air still running High Sierra, and it works perfectly with both. It also comes with MOTU's DAW software Performer Lite, which may be the most powerful "Lite" DAW out there, and I'm slowly becoming a convert as I learn it. This Lite version allows up to 16 audio tracks (vs. 8 w/Ableton Live Lite) and 32 tracks overall, and actually has very usable builtin guitar plugins for a "Lite" version. On top of this, the device also comes with an Ableton Live Lite license, which has always been my favorite "Lite" DAW, so you have a choice between what I think are the best two "Lite" DAWs out there. Oh, and yes -- it has an on/off switch... It cracks me up that every YT review celebrates the on/off switch as a feature!

    Perfect!
    Parker

I bought one of these to replace an M-Audio M-Track that was nothing but trouble for day one. The M2 is superior in every way. The pre-amps are top notch with an extremely low noise floor, and the ASIO drivers are rock solid. There's a reason this unit is sold out everywhere. My only regret is not getting the M4 instead.

Motu has really upped the game in the Bub $200 interface market. The M2 is outstanding. All the features I wanted, plus some. Easy install and setup and it sounds great! Very Pleased.
