The MIDI Solutions Quadra Thru 4-Output Active MIDI Thru Box is a 1-in 4-out MIDI Thru Box. All MIDI messages appearing at the input are sent to all four Thru outputs. Active circuitry cleans up any skewing of MIDI data bits that has occurred at the input, ensuring reliable operation in setups that require daisy chaining or long cable runs. The Quadra Thru is MIDI-powered, and requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most MIDI products. A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it.

What We Think - MIDI Solutions Quadra Thru Review
The Thru devices by Midi Solutions are great studio and stage tools. It is a waste of time and electricity to have all your outboard midi devices on, only to use an instrument (or even a couple instruments) off one of your midi modules, just because you need the daisy chained thru puts. That is where the Midi Solution Thru boxes come in, simplifying your set up, so you only need to power on the midi module you need. I have had a Midi Solutions Quadra Thru in my home studio for over a year, and love it. Right out of the box, I connected the midi output of my audio interface to the Quadra Thru, and then from each thru output to my external midi gear. Now I can access only what I need, when I need it. The Midi Solutions Thru box works so well, and so reliably, that I have (at times) forgotten it is even there. Not touching it once since I first connected it, but my midi jobs always get done easily. The boxes are well built, and durable "" and a must have for those that demand ease and function with their midi set ups.
