The Maag Audio EQ2 500-Series Equalizer is a no compromise one channel 2-Band Equalizer that provides unparalleled transparency and top end presence while maintaining the true natural sound behind the mix.
The Maag Audio EQ2's AIR BAND is equipped with an additional sassy frequency selection @ 15 kHz, making the Maag Audio EQ2 hard to resist in any situation. The LMF provides both tight or wide bell curve options to dial in the perfect amount of warmth on the 2-bus. When it comes to tracking, the EQ2 will quickly become your favorite preamps' better half by controlling the input (INPUT ATTN) (great for correcting over driven mic preamp transformers) before eq'ing with the versatile AIR BAND and LMF.
Following its Maag Audio EQ4 predecessor, the Maag Audio EQ2 provides unparalleled transparency and top end presence with the same high quality components found in the powerhouse 6 band EQ4. EQ adjustments are obtained with minimal phase shift and detent controls allow for easy recallable settings, even on the INPUT ATTN.

I love this eq! I had to buy two!! So smooth. Super versatile it can be used on so many sources!!! Would recommend to anyone!! It will never disappoint.
I absolutely love my Maag Eq2! Such a solid 500 series unit. The air band is every bit of what they say, and the sub band adds so much clear weight to just about anything. You will not be disappointed!
2 bands boost only eq but man those 2 bands can really handle a lot. Everyone brags about the air band, and while it is good don't sleep on the sub freq in the low band. For beefier kicks the low band is great. And the high end is equally great with the air band. I use this eq on drums and vocals.
