The Heil PL-2T Broadcast Boom System is a fully articulating, professional-quality microphone boom arm that is perfect for home or studio use.

The PL2T features factory pre-set internal spring tension, eliminating external spring reverberation and providing silent movement while recording. With an eye to design and function, the PL2T also features covered cable channels, eliminating cable clutter and unsightly velcro straps. The PL2T comes with a Heil C-Clamp and is designed to work with Heil’s line of mounting hardware for additional mounting options.

    Very nice boom option

    I've had Heil mics for a few years, using them to mic up my drum set. Just recently I had reason to start doing some vocal stuff on the computer, and I picked one of these up for my PR40. I use it for both vocal work and in my fun time, as a gaming mic (granted this is the nicest mic/boom stand one could probably find), and it works really well clamped to my workstation. I also used the Heil shock mount with this product and recommend it.
