The Gauge ECM-47 Microphone is a powerful tube microphone that delivers warm, rich, studio-quality tone with nine polar patterns. It's incredibly versatile and will help to give your recordings a big, professional, and vintage-inspired sound. This version features a classic silver finish.

The Gauge ECM-47 is a classic multi-pattern tube condenser microphone built to deliver vintage warmth, modern clarity, and true studio versatility. Its gold-plated EH 6072A tube, precision 35 mm capsule, and custom dual-bobbin transformer give it the rich, smooth character associated with legendary vocal mics. The ECM-47 is flattering on singers, acoustic instruments, piano, and overheads without ever sounding harsh. With nine selectable polar patterns, the ECM-47 adapts to any recording scenario, from tight, focused vocals to roomy ambience to advanced stereo techniques. It captures sources with excellent detail, low noise, and up to 135 dB SPL handling so even loud sources remain clean!

The ECM-47 comes as a complete premium package, including an external power supply, shock mount, cables, and a protective case. Whether you're recording a solo artist, a full band, or your own home-studio productions, the ECM-47 gives you the unmistakable depth and presence of a vintage tube mic while offering the flexibility and reliability modern engineers demand.
