The ddrum Red Shot Trigger Kit contains a complete set of ddrum's most affordable drum triggers to compliment most any drum kit. The kit contains 1 x Red Shot Kick Drum Trigger and 4 x Snare/Tom Red Shot Triggers. The Red Shot Triggers feature a 1/4" jack for connection to the sound module. hey are mounted onto the hoop with one of the standard tension rods. The drum Red Shot Trigger utilizes the same type of sensor as the ddrum Acoustic Trigger, but has a stripped-down mechanical construction.

The Ddrum Red Shot Trigger Kit has been a reliable part of our setup for years, and it continues to prove its value across a wide range of sessions. While working in the studio, we’ve used these triggers both with hardware sound modules and to capture MIDI for triggering virtual drum libraries later on. No matter the application, they’ve been consistently dependable and easy to work with. They’re an obvious must for metal and other extreme-tempo styles where precision and consistency are critical, but the Red Shots really shine beyond that as well. We’ve used them countless times for snare replacement on more subtle music when the performance was solid, but the drum itself just wasn’t quite there — and there wasn’t time or budget to swap it out. The dynamic response is excellent, and with proper setup on your module or interface, ghost notes and articulation come through naturally instead of sounding stiff or robotic. If you’re looking for a cost-effective way to get into drum triggering — whether for studio work or live performance — the Red Shot Trigger Kit is hard to beat.
