The AKG P220 Microphone is a high-performance large diaphragm true condenser microphone offering a warm and clear sound for lead vocals, acoustic guitar and brass instruments. Featuring a rugged all-metal body and robust design, the P220 withstands tough day-to-day use.

The AKG P220 Microphone's switchable bass-cut filter and attenuation pad make it perfectly suited for use on loud sound sources with sound pressure levels up to 155dB SPL. The rugged and roadworthy design also makes the AKG P220 a perfect choice for on-stage applications. The AKG P220 Microphone represents the most popular and successful microphone within the actual Project Studio Line. It comes complete with a spider-type shock mount in an aluminum carrying case.

    Profoundly better than i expected

    I purchased this mic to be used mainly as an overhead mic for my drum set. The from the first orientation I tried the sound being captured was simply phenomenal. I have a high end drumset and this mic makes it sound almost better than live with no EQ. For the price, this mic is a real deal.
