The Z&H Designs HO2 2-Channel Preamp delivers boutique-grade analog performance in a compact dual-channel format built for demanding recording engineers, producers, and studio professionals.

Featuring fully discrete circuitry, high-voltage operation, and Z&H’s signature trim control, the HO2 combines pristine detail, powerful headroom, and musical harmonic character in a versatile front-end designed for everything from vocals and acoustic instruments to stereo recording and overdub sessions. Built around 24 high-voltage opamps and a robust 56V linear power supply, the HO2 provides exceptional clarity, low noise, and wide dynamic range while maintaining the depth and dimensionality that engineers expect from premium analog preamps. The unique Z&H trim control allows users to move between clean and highly colored tonal responses, giving the HO2 the flexibility to function as both a transparent capture tool and a creatively driven tone-shaping preamp. Each channel includes essential studio controls including 48V phantom power, polarity invert, pad, and a 100Hz high-pass filter, making the HO2 equally comfortable with condenser, ribbon, and dynamic microphones.
