The Telefunken Elektroakustik CU-29 Tube Microphone is an R-F-T Series large-diaphragm tube condenser mic with a hardshell flight case designed to deliver versatility and full-range frequency reproduction of vocals and instruments for musicians, recordists, and audio engineers in home, project, and commercial recording studios. It features a 1" single-membrane, center-terminated capsule with a cardioid polar pattern. An NOS 6AK5W vacuum tube and Lundahl LL1935 output transformer contribute to the CU-29's tone, which yields low-frequency clarity and smooth, pristine highs. Its 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and maximum SPL of 130 dB enable it to handle anything from soft vocals and delicate piano to pounding drums and blaring horns.
