The Synergy TDLX Preamp Module is a versatile, two-channel, all-tube preamp module designed to replicate the iconic clean and driven tones of two classic Fender amps.

The Synergy TDLX Preamp Module is designed to be used with Synergy's modular hardware systems. It features two distinct amp voices, often described as a tweed-style amp on the "red" channel and a blackface "deluxe" style amp on the "blue" channel, each with its own EQ and control. The module includes bright and tight switches for fine-tuning the tone and a unique cathode select switch to further adjust the input tube's bass response, making it a highly adaptable component for Synergy amp docks and older modular systems. 

CATHODE SELECT SWITCH
The T-DLX module features a three position switch on the PCB which allows you to configure the input tube bass response to match the original circuit of the selected module. This will affect the feel and tightness.

DUAL<>SINGLE SLIDE SWITCH
The T-DLX module features a secondary switch allowing the new Synergy modules to be used in older single channel  Egnater and Randall modular amps/preamps that do not accept the dual channel modules. This allows access to either of the module channels when that slot is turned on.

  • Clean/Pedal Platform Channel: Provides crystal-clear, high-headroom tones that are excellent for using with external pedals. 
  • Overdrive/Gritty Channel: Delivers touch-sensitive, gritty, and smooth vintage-style overdrive, ideal for blues and classic rock. 
  • Gain, Volume, and 3-Band EQ: Each channel has its own set of these controls for precise tonal shaping. 
  • Bright Switch: A three-position toggle that allows you to add top-end chime or reduce brightness to suit your guitar and preferences. 
  • Tight Switch: Another three-position switch that helps to reduce the bass response, tightening the low end for a more focused sound. 
  • Cathode Select Switch: This feature lets you configure the input tube's bass response to match the original amp circuit's feel and tightness.
