The Synergy Steve Vai Signature Preamp Module is an all-tube, two-channel modular preamp designed in collaboration with Steve Vai that offers a wide range of his iconic tones from sparkling cleans to high-gain distortion.

The Synergy Steve Vai Signature Preamp Module is designed to be used with Synergy's modular hardware systems. It fits into Synergy preamp docks and other compatible hardware, featuring separate controls, EQ, and switching options for each channel to achieve Vai's distinctive sounds for lead playing and rhythm work. With the Synergy VAI module, there’s never been an easier way to harness the sound of a Bonafide guitar legend!

CATHODE SELECT SWITCH
The Synergy Steve Vai Signature Preamp Module features a three position switch on the PCB which allows you to configure the input tube bass response to match the original circuit of the selected module. This will affect the feel and tightness.

DUAL<>SINGLE SLIDE SWITCH
The Synergy Steve Vai Signature Preamp Module features a secondary switch allowing the new Synergy modules to be used in older single channel Egnater and Randall modular amps/preamps that do not accept the dual channel modules. This allows access to either of the module channels when that slot is turned on.

Synergy Steve Vai Signature Preamp Module Features

  • Blue Channel: Features "Fat" and "Bright" switches for adjusting the clean tone.
  • Red Channel: Includes "Boost" and "Bright" switches for adding sustain and clarity to the high-gain sound. 
  • All-Tube Design: Uses two 12AX7 preamp tubes to deliver rich, harmonic performance. 
  • Vai-Approved Tone: Meticulously developed to capture Steve Vai's signature sounds and feel, from the clean tones reminiscent of the Carvin Legacy amp to his high-gain lead tones. 
  • Independent Controls: Each channel has its own gain, volume, and 3-band EQ for versatile tone shaping. 
  • Modular Design: Designed to be easily installed and removed from Synergy preamp docks, offering the flexibility to switch between different modules.
