The Synergy Plexi Preamp Module is a tube-driven and interchangeable preamp module designed by Dave Friedman to capture the iconic sound of classic 1960s Marshall Plexi amplifiers.
The Synergy Plexi Preamp Module is designed to be used with Synergy's modular hardware systems. It features two channels with distinct gain controls ("Input I" and "Input II"), allowing players to simulate the tone-shaping capabilities of a "jumped" input on a vintage Plexi amp. The module also includes a shared EQ section, a "sag" control to mimic the power amp compression of a tube amp, and a three-position switch to adjust the bass response for different classic amp configurations.

TheSynergy Plexi Preamp Module features a three position switch on the PCB which allows you to configure the input tube bass response to match the original circuit of the selected module. This will affect the feel and tightness.
