The Synergy ENGL Savage Preamp Module is a two-channel, all-tube preamplifier module designed by ENGL's own Horst Langer and faithfully recreating the high-gain tones and touch response of the original ENGL Savage amplifier.
The Synergy ENGL Savage Preamp Module is designed to be used with Synergy's modular hardware systems. This compact, interchangeable module uses two 12AX7 tubes to provide the signature German-style sound, featuring individual gain and volume controls for each channel, a shared EQ, and a contour switch to sculpt the mids, making it ideal for modern direct recording and lower-volume setups.
CATHODE SELECT SWITCH
This three position switch allows you to configure the input tube bass response to match the original circuit of the selected module. This will affect the feel and tightness.
