The Solid State Logic UMD192 Audio Interface is a high-capacity MADI, Dante, and USB 3.0 bridge built for engineers who need massive channel counts, rock-solid clocking, and flexible routing in a compact, portable format.
Designed for demanding live sound, broadcast, and high-spec studio workflows, UMD192 makes it easy to record, play back, or convert between formats without compromising speed, stability, or audio integrity. UMD192 is purpose-built for bidirectional audio between any two formats-MADI, Dante, or USB-while the third format can receive a split feed. That means you can integrate multiple MADI devices into a Dante AoIP network, bridge MADI to USB for high-channel-count recording, or use it as a powerful interface for playback and capture in mission-critical environments. On the Dante side, it’s fully interoperable with AES67 and supports ST 2110 (with DDM), with ultra-low latency down to 0.25 ms. For redundancy-focused workflows, UMD192 includes six MADI BNC pairs and can be configured for three dual-redundant MADI connections-ideal for broadcast trucks, live rigs, and any setup where failure isn’t an option. Add flexible power options (AC mains, PoE, or USB) and intuitive front-panel indicators with a lockout feature, and you’ve got an interface that stays dependable under pressure-whether it’s console-side, desktop, or racked with the optional kit.
