The Softube Console 1 MKII Software Mixer is a totally unique hybrid between hardware and software. The Console 1 gives the best of both worlds, and redefines mixing in the DAW-based studio.

Quickly switch between your tracks and control EQ, compressor, gate and more. Mix with the sound of the included Solid State Logic SL 4000 E. Or customize your channels to fit your needs — there are over 70 Console 1 ready plug-ins available from Softube and Universal Audio.

Console 1 works with every major DAW on the market
Studio One, Cubase, Cakewalk by BandLab, Reaper, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, Pro Tools and more. Presonus Studio One, Steinberg Cubase, Cakewalk Sonar and Cockos Reaper feature additional integration: select tracks and control their pan, volume, sends and more directly from the hardware.

Full Integration with Logic Pro
Softube worked directly with Apple to implement a software update that takes full advantage of a new control protocol within Logic Pro. The setup for this is automatically done by Logic Pro. Now control of volume, pan, solo, mute, and your sends does not require the Console 1 plug-in!

    Knobs, operation, software, construction, price. Very good buy. It does not work with all the UA plugins, I hope they improve that part. But the product is very good, it improves the work flow a lot.

    I owned a SSL 4000 for 12 years the Eq in console 1 is scary close !!! And at 499.00 what!!!

I bought the Softube Console 1 after watching Chris Lord Alge mix on his SSL 4000E Console and it didn't take long for it to become a huge part of my workflow. With Console 1, you're given hands on control of all EQ, compression, and volume adjustments. The SSL E Channel Strip that comes with the Console 1 sounds great but you're able to expand and use a number of equally awesome channel strips that emulate other famous consoles from companies like API, Trident, Weiss and more! Each channel strip also has a drive feature that emulates the analog character they're each known for. You can decide how much of that character you want per track. The workflow is easy and fast! Simply add Console 1 to the tracks in your daw and start mixing! You're able to cycle between tracks easily with the top row of buttons or by siumply clicking on a track. The plugin GUI is gorgeous and there's a nice RTA for the EQ section. If you're looking to get away from the keyboard and mouse workflow and get a little more hands on with your music while adding some nice character, check out the Console 1!
