The Neumann EA 4 Shockmount is designed to provide efficient protection against structure-borne noise and mechanical shocks. Compatible with the Neumann TLM 102, TLM 103, TLM 107, TLM 193 and Sennheiser MK4 Microphones, the EA 4 features a swivel mount with a 5/8-27 inches female thread, plus a thread adapter to connect to 1/2 and 3/8 inches stands.
The Neumann EA 4 Shockmount is an elastic suspension shockmount made of metal, designed to isolate your microphone from vibration. The microphone is set into the inner cage from above, and secured to the inner cage with a threaded nut. By isolating your Neumann TLM 102, TLM 103, TLM 107, TLM 193 microphone and Sennheiser MK4 from the stand, a massive amount of low-end vibrational energy is reduced from traveling up your stand into your mic signal. The Neumann EA 4 has a swivel mount with a 5/8"-27 female thread, plus a thread adapter to connect to 1/2"- and 3/8" stands.
