What We Think
The Mogami Gold Studio Cable solves problems by not giving electromagnetic or radio frequency interference a chance - plus it doesn't add or subtract anything from the sound. If you're after just the pure sound being transmitted from source to destination, the Mogami Gold Studio Microphone Cable is it.
Of course, we're referring to it as a 'line cable' as it features 1/4-inch TRS connectors (courtesy of Neutrik - their excellent NP3X-B 1/4-inch TRS and NC3MXX-B XLR-m connectors, sporting black housings and corrosion-free gold contacts - hence the Mogami GOLD portion of the name). But the truth is, the Mogami Gold Studio cabling's Neglex 2534 Quad cable is the ideal for transmitting any analog audio signals; microphone level or line level. Their 'true' sound makes them the ideal for using when setting up your monitor chain... and recording chain, when you really think about it. Mogami Gold Studio cabling lets all of your sound through with little fuss. And if you need an XLR to TRS cable, or TRS to TRS, we've got those, too. Just let us know.
Word to the wise: Many others offer cables and say that they're 'Made With Mogami' (and some even say, "Configure your Mogami cable"). But when you dig deeper, you discover that the 'cheaper' option that they're trying to pass off as a actual Mogami Gold is some other offering altogether - more like a "Silver", and even then not the same at all! So, don't be duped into thinking that you're getting the same thing for less!

Well made cable with good noise rejection. Lifetime warranty.
OK we put this cable against a Monster Cable (which I believe is all hype except the warranty). We simply connected it to one of our Yamaha studio monitors, and the Monster Cable to the other. Simply put, the right monitor is super quiet and the left is very, very noisy. That enough to convince me. Go for it, its the real deal, no hype. Cabling is important and you want the best, this is pretty much IT.
