excellent, reliable mixer at a great price

Great mixer for the money. I run an open mic and have been using a FX-8 for the past 3 years and it has been problem-free. Built in effects are nice to have. We stepped up to the FX-12 because we wanted more inputs. Given the small difference in price, should have bought the FX-12 to begin with. However, it was easy to sell the FX-8 and its value held up well. Only two small complaints related to connecting to a stage monitor: The connections are RTS phone plugs, would have preferred XLR and would have liked a mute button for the monitor for when open mic performers are plugging and unplugging instruments.
