The JZ Microphones BT202 Microphones are just as impressive as the rest of the JZ catalog. Thanks to their transformerless design, they're very open sounding with a fast transient response so you're able to hear all the articulation of your source with clarity. These microphones in a pair would be a great option for drum overhead microphones, spot mics for cymbals, and I love the way they sound on acoustic guitar. Especially finger picking style when you want every detail and nuance of the performance to come through nicely. These mics sound balanced with a top end that isn't harsh, it’s airy and smooth. This is a great place to start for small diaphragm condensers and though you may decide to try more microphones down the line, there will always be a place for the JZ BT202 in your studio. Give them a try!
