Once you have this basic system in place, adding additional monitor's, subwoofers and components is a breeze! SAM incorporates digital signal processing (DSP) within each monitor and subwoofer, which allows the user to adapt the monitor and subwoofer to the acoustic environment. Accessing this DSP is done through the Genelec GLM software, which provides automatic calibration and control. GLM analyzes the listening environment and optimizes the monitor and subwoofer settings for level, distance delays, and frequency response, compensating for room acoustics. This is complete control over your listening environment!
