The FLEA M 251 Microphone features a FLEA CK12 Capsule, an identical clone of the CK12 capsule. It also features a T14/1 Transformer Clone. Just a note aside, if you weren't passionate enough, the careful cloning of all the mechanical parts could drive you insane. But despite the difficulty, everything is perfected. And a few things have actually been improved!

The creation of the CK12 Capsule has been a long-term project of FLEA microphones which began 15 years ago. The idea was to develop their own version of the CK12 which was originated in 2009. During the course of development, the discovered an exceptional capsule from another manufacturer, the CT12. Impressed by its sound and performance, they temporarily shifted focus, setting aside the CK12 project in favor of using the CT12 for several years. It proved to be an excellent product, and they were pleased with the results. However, their dedication to completing their own CK12 capsule never waned. After years of meticulous work, FLEA Microphones is proud to announce that the CK12 is now finished. This capsule is an exact clone of the original CK12, faithfully recreating its remarkable sound quality. By keeping production under one roof, they can fine-tune each capsule to perfectly match the specific requirements of each microphone, ensuring optimal performance.
