The Tierra Audio New Twenties Microphone

The New Twenties Microphone from Tierra Audio is built like a tank, but with the aesthetics and sound of the 1920s.

Hand built in Madrid Spain with an American made capsule, and Swedish made Lundahl Transformer, the New Twenties is loaded with quality – from build, to looks, to performance.

The New Twenties offers a rich mid forward character that is reminiscent of yesteryear, but with modern hi-fidelity detail. In addition to the microphone, you get a magnetic pop filter that is designed specifically for the New Twenties microphone. It also comes with a magnetic mic flag made of wood and acrylic that gives the mic even more unique flare. All in all, Tierra Audio continues to provide the innovation and uniqueness that they're known for.

Tierra Audio New Twenties Microphone - Gear360 at Front End Audio

Check out the Tierra Audio New Twenties Microphone on Front End Audio's Gear360. Ideal for male and female vocals, The New Twenties Microphone is a modern tribute to the Roaring Twenties, combining the sonic essence of the era, with modern design.

The Tierra Audio New Twenties Condenser Microphone is a very cool mic on many levels. First, the look of it is so unique. Secondly the sound really captures that 1920's radio broadcast sound, but is still rich, musical, and has modern fidelity. Then you have the build quality. It is precision machined metal, high-end components (such as the Lundhal transformer, and USA made capsule), and all assembled with care in Madrid, Spain. So, what you get is a total package of cool, quality, and performance. The New Twenties mic performs very well on vocals and acoustic stringed instruments. But its unique character could be used in an effecty kind of application for say drum room. This mic's sonic signature opens the door to creativity that no other mic is offering today. Add this one to the short list.
