Lauten Audio Announces the Brand New V2 Black Series Microphones

Today, Lauten Audio announced V2 updates to their Black Series lineup of microphones including the new Lauten Audio LA-120 V2 Microphones, Lauten Audio LA-220 V2 and Lauten Audio LA-320 V2.

So, what's new with the Black Series microphones? For starters, they've all been updated with a fresh new look including new badges, engraving and materials. They also include new shock mounts, improved capsule design for greater protection in less than ideal environments and refreshed packaging and pack-ins. But the changes aren't just cosmetic. The specs are completely different on this new lineup of mics as well, so careful consideration is suggested when deciding between V1 and V2 Black Series microphones. 

In case you're unfamiliar with Lauten Audio's Black Series, the LA-120 V2 includes a pair of transformerless FET condenser microphones with cardioid and omni capsules along with onboard sound shaping for exceptional versatility. There's also an optional in-line pad sold separately.

The LA-220 V2 is a two-tone FET microphone which allows you to choose between the warmth of a classic microphone and the clarity of a modern microphone at the flip of a switch.

Unlike the LA-220 V2, the LA-320 V2 is a tube mic. Similarly however, it's a two-tone microphone that allows you to choose between the warmth and body of a vintage microphone and the clarity and bite of a modern microphone with the flip of a switch.
