Introducing the Warm Audio Reamper Box

Introducing the Warm Audio Reamper Box! Warm Audio has announced the release of the Warm Audio Reamper Box, a new all-analog routing and re-amping tool designed to connect guitar rigs, pedals, studio processors, and DAW workflows in a single flexible unit! Built as one of Warm Audio’s first proprietary studio designs, the Reamper is designed to simplify workflows that often require multiple pieces of gear and complex routing setups. It allows users to re-amp dry tracks through real tube amplifiers, capture a clean safety track while recording, integrate guitar pedals into line-level studio chains, route studio processors into guitar signal paths, and even record a cranked tube amp silently using its built-in power soak.

At the center of the Reamper is an independent instrument preamp and re-amp signal path architecture. This allows engineers and musicians to move signals freely between instruments, amplifiers, pedals, outboard gear, and DAW sessions. One of the most common uses is sending previously recorded dry guitar tracks back through real amplifiers and pedals after the performance has already been captured, giving engineers more flexibility when shaping tones during mixing. The Reamper also extends beyond traditional guitar workflows. Its flexible I/O design allows guitar pedals to be integrated into balanced line-level studio chains, opening the door to processing vocals, synths, or drum busses with effects like fuzz, chorus, phasers, or ring modulators. On the other side of the signal chain, studio processors such as compressors, EQs, and digital effects can be routed directly into guitar rigs. For silent recording applications, the Reamper includes a built-in 50W / 8Ω power soak. This allows users to drive a tube amplifier into its optimal range without needing to connect a speaker cabinet, making it possible to capture fully driven amp tones at low volume or completely silently. To maintain signal integrity throughout the unit, the Reamper uses USA-made CineMag transformers on both the input and output stages along with fully active circuitry designed for ultra-low noise performance. Variable impedance control is also included to help optimize interaction with passive instruments, active pickups, pedals, and line-level sources. And like all Warm Audio products, each WA-RA Reamper is hand-tested and inspected in Austin, Texas and includes a 5-year warranty.
