Introducing the new Manley Dual Series EQs: Analog Mastering Performance for Modern Studios

Introducing the new Manley Dual Series EQs: Analog Mastering Performance for Modern Studios. Manley Laboratories has officially unveiled the new Dual Series EQs, introducing two flagship analog equalizers designed for today's recording, mixing, and mastering engineers. The new lineup consists of the Manley Dual Main EQ and the Manley Dual Mid Band EQ, each bringing Manley's legendary tube circuitry and passive equalizer design into a refined, modern stereo platform. For decades, Manley equalizers have earned a reputation for delivering musical, transparent processing that enhances a mix without sounding clinical or overprocessed. The Dual Series continues that tradition while introducing updated ergonomics, improved stereo workflow, and mastering-grade performance for today's hybrid and analog production environments.

Manley Dual Main EQ

The Manley Dual Main EQ is designed to add authoritative low-end weight, open and airy high frequencies, and the kind of dimensional depth that makes mixes feel larger than life. Whether you're enhancing a stereo mix bus, polishing a master, or adding analog character during tracking, the Dual Main EQ delivers broad, musical tone shaping without sacrificing clarity.

Manley Dual Mid Band EQ

The Manley Dual Mid Band EQ focuses on one of the most critical areas of any mix—the midrange. It offers smooth, highly musical control over presence, separation, and punch, making it an exceptional tool for refining vocals, instruments, stereo buses, and final masters. Rather than simply boosting or cutting frequencies, it helps bring focus and intelligibility while maintaining the natural balance of the source material.

Both equalizers share the same premium analog architecture, featuring passive inductor-based EQ networks, high-voltage tube makeup gain stages utilizing 5751 and 12BH7 tubes, and Manley's custom in-house wound "Manley Iron" transformers. The result is a signal path that does much more than alter frequency response—it adds harmonic richness, depth, and the unmistakable analog character engineers have relied on for years. Designed for professional studios, the Dual Series offers true stereo operation, Left/Right and Mid/Side compatibility (with an external encoder/decoder), exceptionally high headroom exceeding +30 dBu, and a universal switchmode power supply for worldwide operation. Each unit is handcrafted in California and built to meet the demands of the most critical recording and mastering environments.

The Manley Dual Main EQ and Manley Dual Mid Band EQ are available now from Front End Audio.
