Inspired by one of the most celebrated studio compressors ever created, the 369 can gently pull a mix together, add weight and cohesion to individual sources, or clamp down on unruly peaks without stripping away the energy that made the performance exciting in the first place. Each of the Behringer 369’s two channels features independent compressor and limiter sections, giving engineers detailed control over dynamics in linked stereo or dual-mono configurations. Stepped rotary controls make settings precise, repeatable, and easy to recall between sessions, while selectable fast and slow attack times help preserve transients or apply firmer control. The compressor provides adjustable threshold, recovery, makeup gain, and ratio settings for everything from subtle mix-bus glue to more assertive gain reduction, while the limiter offers dedicated controls for catching peaks before they become a problem. A fully discrete Class-A signal path and custom-built Midas input and output transformers give the Behringer 369 Stereo Compressor a confident analog presence suited to mix buses, mastering chains, drum groups, vocals, instruments, broadcast processing, and live sound.
