The high-quality recording and mixing channel strip has been improved again with the latest Mk3 ersion in some technical details and optimized with the needs of modern recording studios in ind. The new design of the SPL Studio Series provides this third generation Track One with a more intuitive and at the same time classy design. The Track One is equipped with two preamps: a microphone preamp with 48V phantom power and a separate instrument preamp. Both are tuned to a sound-neutral, open and transparent characteristic. Track One Mk3 offers the possibility to process line signals.This means that sources with line level, such as an analog signal from an audio interface, can be processed with de-esser, compressor, limiter and equalizer and then be recorded again. In this way, Track One Mk3 becomes an “analog plugin” within an insert of a DAW. Unobtrusively and effectively, the Auto-Dynamic De-Esser removes distracting S-sounds, in a mix or on vocal tracks. S-frequencies get detected and mixed back phase-inverted into the main signal, thus simply deleting sibilants in the original signal. The compressor is also extremely easy to operate via a controller; its strength lies in its unobtrusive, musical operation. The compressor/limiter section has excellent specifications in terms of noise and distortion. The limiter is designed as an unobtrusive working soft limiter. The filter construction permits the complete scope, from selective removal of accentuated frequen- cies through to character giving accentuations of an instrument, to be effectively and quickly covered. All SPL devices are developed not only according to plan, but also by ear. Many important components are installed on the circuit boards using Through-hole technology. This way SPL can ensure that they can use the best sounding components.

SPL Track One Mk3 Premium KING OF VOCALS!!!
Mar 2nd 2026did you see the subject title?!? YES, I mean that!! If you want your recordings to come ALIVE, get this! the upgraded transformers in this unit are absolutely worth it, all the processing functions on this channel strip really show German engineering at its finest… if you have sibilance issues, the de esser is the BEST one on the market hands down, nothing comes close, not “one of the best”, no, THE BEST one, no other channel strip can top it… intelligent two knob compression does its job, it’s almost impossible for it to sound “bad”, the air band is magic, even if you crank it way up, it doesn’t distort at all, vocals are the specialty but can work on any source, it really brings your vocals alive and provides character that is hard to put in words, it’s king of vocals! whether sung, rapping, voice over, etc it doesn’t matter at all, this unit is slept on, and more of these need to be sold because the world needs it!! Perfect channel strip for the price, I personally think it’s the best and you even though the base one is just as fantastic, getting this premium version and spending the little extra money for this is absolutely worth every penny, beats everything in its price range and competes strongly with anything above it, highly recommended!!!!
