Running its 12AU7 tubes at a full 320V, the LBDI produces natural harmonic richness, punchy transients, and wide dynamic range that elevate guitars, basses, synths, keys, and other Hi-Z sources. Compact yet powerful, the LBDI functions as a DI, instrument preamp, tone shaper, and reamping tool in a single all-tube package. The LBDI features a switchable High/Low gain input stage, allowing you to move from clean, articulate tones to rich tube saturation with ease. Its true bypassable three-band tube EQ offers musical control, while the intelligent Bright circuit dynamically adjusts high-frequency response based on input gain—maintaining clarity at low levels and smooth balance at higher drive settings. A dedicated reamp input makes it easy to process prerecorded tracks through the tube circuitry for added depth and character. Finished with a rugged steel chassis and a distinctive chromed carry handle, the LBDI is equally at home on top of an amp, on a desktop, or in a live rig.
