Black Lion Audio carefully analyzed the original Bluey and recreated its unique circuit behavior with custom Cinemag transformers, a vintage-inspired PCB layout, 1% resistors, polyester capacitors, and a linear power supply. They also added modern workflow upgrades, including an active wet/dry mix control for parallel compression and stereo linking for pairing two units.
