Inspired by legendary vintage designs like the Neumann U47 and M49, the Arabella combines a handcrafted BeesNeez K47 capsule, premium tube circuitry, and a custom toroidal transformer to deliver a beautifully balanced sound with exceptional depth, detail, and presence. Whether you're capturing an intimate vocal performance, recording acoustic instruments, or adding dimension to a full ensemble, the Arabella delivers the kind of musical character that makes great recordings come alive. With nine selectable polar patterns and meticulous Australian craftsmanship, this is one serious studio microphone with plenty of personality. At the heart of the BeesNeez Arabella is the company's precision-engineered K47 large-diaphragm capsule, designed to capture the smooth, detailed, and harmonically rich qualities associated with some of the most celebrated microphones in recording history. Paired with a Russian 6ZH8 tube and a custom 6.5:1 toroidal transformer featuring a Ni78 permalloy core, the Arabella produces a full-bodied sonic character with a forward midrange presence, natural warmth, and beautifully detailed highs. Rather than simply recreating a vintage microphone, BeesNeez has developed its own interpretation of the classic tube microphone sound, combining traditional sonic character with modern engineering and versatility. One of the Arabella's greatest strengths is its flexibility. Nine selectable polar patterns, ranging from omnidirectional through cardioid to figure-8, allow engineers to tailor the microphone's pickup characteristics to the source and recording environment. Capture focused lead vocals with cardioid, embrace the natural ambience of a room with omnidirectional, or explore creative recording techniques with figure-8 and intermediate patterns. From vocals and acoustic guitars to piano, drum rooms, guitar cabinets, and orchestral instruments, the Arabella is equally comfortable delivering intimate detail or expansive, room-filling sound.
