Pearl Microphones CO22 Details
The CO22 uses the classic Pearl rectangular capsule configured in an omni-directional pattern. The high quality phantom powered preamplifier has very low noise levels making the CO22 useful in many studio applications. The frequency response of the CO22 is very flat on both "on" and "off" axis up to 12kHz which makes it very useful in distance recording applications. This microphone very honestly captures the nuances and timbre of the sound maintaining its own unique colour. The CO22 in matched pair configuration is an excellent solution for A/B stereo recording. It is an excellent choice for recording acoustical instruments whether recording a small ensemble or a full symphony orchestra. The microphone is finished in black chromium, and a red LED indicates that phantom power is applied to the microphone. The Pearl CO22 is supplied in an AC01 aluminium case.
