Useful… sometimes
May 17th 2012Useful to get more quickly the sound on the kick drum for live gigs. But you don't need this pad for studio work. The result is not as efficient with all microphones, I like it with D112 or RE20 but not with D6 for example.

An awesome kick drum tool live and recording
Dec 6th 2005This thing really lives up to the hype.I've used it in quite a few situations.For a live sound guy it's a great secret weapon and for recording it's a great help with hard to record kick drums,even cheap ones!
